FarrenHeight Theatre Company
About FarrenHeight
FarrenHeight was formed by two arts practioners in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and implausibly named because one of them is called Farren whereas the other is quite tall.
Our aim is to produce high quality, thought-provoking theatre which ranges from both classic texts to new writing and providing a platform for contemporary arts voices.
Current Production
After successful runs at Bradford Playhouse and Skipton Little Theatre, FarrenHeight's first ever production - a revival of Patrick Marber's After Miss Julie transfers to the Theatre Upstairs, Bingley Arts Centre in 2026.
At a large country house in Yorkshire, whilst the inhabitants and staff celebrate the post-war landslide General Election victory of Clement Attlee’s Labour over Winston Churchill’s Conservative Party, three people below stairs conduct their own power struggle of class and sexual politics, fuelled - but simultaneously restricted - by their own desire, status and the shifting sands of the wider socio-political landscape.
This production will run at the Theatre Upstairs, Bingley Arts Centre on 6 & 7 February 2026, and is produced in association with Falling Stars Theatre Company.
